Frequently Asked Questions
We offer a nationwide Door-to-Door Service to our customers. This means that the auto transporter will pick up the vehicle and drop it off as close to your home as legally and safe as possible. Many cities have restrictions on large trucks that prohibit them from driving into some residential areas. Transport trucks are enormous and they need a lot of room to maneuver and turn around, so if access to your home is restricted by narrow streets, low-hanging trees, speed bumps or tight turns, the transporter may ask that you meet the truck at a large parking lot nearby such as a department store. You will receive a call directly from the transporter if these arrangements are necessary.
It is best to contact us as soon as possible. We have auto transporters delivering vehicles all over the country. As soon as we have your information, we are able to start working on scheduling your vehicle’s shipment.
Many vehicle types fall into the same quoting range. A nominal fee can be expected if your vehicle is inoperable, oversized or modified. Please let us know if there are any of these conditions prior to arrival of the transporter so we can have the proper equipment available to deliver your car safely. Additional fees must be paid prior to transport.
Yes, you or somebody you have designated will need to be there when the vehicle is being picked up and delivered. Our transporters will perform an inspection of the vehicle and will need a signature on the bill of lading. You will receive a copy of the bill of lading at the time of pick up and at the time of delivery.
We will stay in contact with you throughout your vehicle shipment. Your assigned shipping specialist will contact you and the transporter will also give you an advanced notice of their arrival.
Items left in the vehicle are not covered by the auto transporters insurance. You can place up to 100lbs of personal items in the trunk of your vehicle. All personal items are placed in the vehicle at the owner’s risk. We do not recommend packing electronics, breakable items or items of great monetary or sentimental value.
We can transport several vehicles at one time and can accommodate any multi-vehicle shipments.
We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Cashier Checks, Company Checks, Personal Checks, Money Orders and COD. We offer many different payment programs to allow you complete flexibility in your shipping needs. Dealerships may qualify for Net Terms invoice billing.
